Business Support

Thanks to EU funding through the Convergence programme, the level of business support available right now in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly is amongst the best in the UK. That said, the LEP Board recognises that there are a lot of different business support packages available; understanding what is on offer and who can apply is not always easy and can consume a lot of valuable business time.

Business in You

The Government has recently launched a new website which is the new place to find government services and information; it offers advice, inspiration and practical help to turn ideas in businesses. You can access information and support either through the webpage or through the helpline number.

The service is there to support those who may be looking to start a business for the very first time, new start ups and existing businesses wishing to improve and grow their operations.

This helpline provides a quick response service to people with simple questions about starting or running a business. It also provides a more in-depth service for those with more complex enquiries. A specialist business advice service also forms part of the Helpline service offer. For businesses that are in need of additional assistance this targeted service provides pre-starts and established businesses meeting specific criteria with more personalised and in-depth advice through a small team of Business Support Advisers (BSAs). Telephone: (9.00am - 6.00pm Monday to Friday).
