Employment and Skills Board

The Employment and Skills Board (ESB) is an employer led partnership that brings together public, private and voluntary sector employers with education and training providers; supported by the Local Authorities, JobCentre Plus and the Skills Funding Agency, to focus on employment and skills for Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly.

Our overarching vision for the Employment and Skills Board is for:

"A thriving economy within Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly where dynamic, diverse, sustainable employment and a higher skilled population help people, places and businesses reach their full potential".

We will work together to ensure that business can:

  • Recruit the right people with the right attitude, motivation and skills.
  • Access training provision that is delivered in the right way, at the right cost and of the right quality
