Digital High Street Skills

Are you a small business? Would you like to trade online? Do you want to boost your business and secure new customers by becoming digitally savvy but not sure how to go about it?

The Cornwall and Isles of Scilly Local Enterprise Partnership has successfully secured funding to help small businesses trading in town centres to develop their digital skills and grow their business online. The fund is open to all small businesses whether you are a shop, guest house, restaurant or office.

Maybe you are not convinced you need to trade online or a bit wary of what you might need to learn to do it well. Watch our film featuring Chris Trerise, Managing Director of Kernow Model Rail Centre in Camborne and Simon Tregoning, Chairman of Classic Cottages in Helston.

What's on offer:
  • Subsidised training courses delivered by the National Skills Academy for Retail to be delivered in January 2015. Three modules would normally cost £255 but the funding reduces this to £120.
  • Once training has been completed, you can apply for digital vouchers worth up to £1,000 to use with selected local companies for services – e.g. design of website, social media support.

This project only runs for a limited period so to find out more, please download and complete the Expression of Interest Form and it back to our office. You will then be contacted by someone from the team.

Please see flyer for more information.
